Welcoming Mato Grosso to Hong Kong

In partnership with Invest MT (Mato Grosso Investment and Competitiveness Promotion Agency), The Brazilian Chamber hosted in Hong Kong a delegation of 35 business representatives from the municipalities of Sinop and Sorriso.  Situated in the northern part of Mato Grosso state, Sinop is a regional services hub, while Sorriso is the largest exporter of soybeans in the world.

 

The delegation kicked-off the China business trip with a meeting with the senior leadership and the Brasil Desk of CW CPA, where they learned about Hong Kong's role as a super connector and a base for business with China under the principle of one country, two systems. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session on the 2026 policy address and what the first Hong Kong five-year plan could mean for businesses from Mato Grosso.
