Brazilian Ports Delegation

The Chamber welcomed the members of the Brazilian ports delegation during their recent visit to Hong Kong.

 The event organized in partnership with the Consulate General of Brazil in Hong Kong, reinforced our position as a hub for networking, insight and advocacy, promoting trade flows and business opportunities connecting Brazil with Hong Kong and China.

The "new port law" (PL 733/2025), currently under discussion in a special commission of the Chamber of Deputies, proposes a new regulatory framework for the Brazilian port sector, with the modernization of legislation to increase investments, simplify processes, make labour management more flexible and redefine competences between the Union, the transportation agency (ANTAQ) and port authorities.
